About CFGS

Built to close the funding-readiness gap

Community Funding & Grant Solutions, Inc. is a Tennessee nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We have applied for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; that determination is pending.

Our Mission

Strengthening the ability of communities to pursue mission-aligned funding

CFGS exists to strengthen the ability of public-benefit organizations and underserved communities to understand, pursue, manage, and sustain mission-aligned funding. We provide structured grant-readiness education, funding-literacy instruction, proposal-development training, compliance education, budget and program-design instruction, and technical assistance.

Our work is intended to reduce educational and capacity barriers faced by under-resourced communities and smaller mission-driven organizations that lack dedicated grant staff, funding research capacity, proposal-writing infrastructure, or post-award compliance systems.

What CFGS does — and does not — do

What we do

We provide grant-readiness education, funding-literacy training, and technical assistance, and we help eligible, accepted organizations develop submission-ready grant packages with customized submission instructions.

What we do not do

We do not guarantee funding outcomes, automatically submit applications on an organization's behalf, provide post-award grant administration, or fabricate official records, approvals, signatures, or IRS determinations. All technology-assisted drafting remains subject to human review.
