Terms of Use
Effective date: August 3, 2026
Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use apply when you access cfgsolutions.org, submit a form, create or use a client portal account, attend a CFGS program, or receive digital materials from Community Funding & Grant Solutions, Inc. ("CFGS"). By using those services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you act for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
Service description and boundaries
CFGS provides grant-readiness education and technical assistance, and helps eligible, accepted organizations develop submission-ready grant packages with customized submission instructions. CFGS does not guarantee funding outcomes, does not automatically submit applications on an organization's behalf, and does not provide post-award grant administration.
Accounts and eligibility
Portal registration is limited to email addresses associated with CFGS-recognized client records. You must provide accurate information, activate your account through the email sent to you, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. CFGS may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
Your information and documents
You retain ownership of information and documents you submit. You grant CFGS permission to host, process, review, reproduce, and share them with service providers as reasonably necessary to deliver the requested services. You represent that your submissions are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to provide them. Do not upload information unrelated to the engagement or information you are prohibited from sharing.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to access another account, bypass security controls, probe or disrupt the Services, upload malicious code, impersonate another person, use automated means that burden the Services, submit unlawful or infringing material, or use CFGS materials to misrepresent eligibility, endorsement, approval, or a guaranteed funding outcome.
Intellectual property
CFGS and its licensors own the website, portal software, branding, training content, and general templates. Subject to any signed participation agreement, CFGS grants your organization a nonexclusive right to use final materials delivered specifically for your organization for its internal operations and funding activities. You may not resell, publish, or redistribute CFGS training content or general templates without written permission.
Third-party services
The Services may rely on third-party hosting, CRM, email, storage, accounting, payment, and security providers. Their systems may be subject to additional terms. CFGS is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, but selects and configures providers to support the Services described in our Privacy Notice.
Contributions and payments
Financial information is shown only when available for an accepted organization. Classification, amount, refund eligibility, and receipt language are controlled by the applicable agreement and finance-owned records. See the Contribution Policy. CFGS does not provide tax or legal advice.
Disclaimers
CFGS provides the Services on an "as available" basis. Educational content and draft materials are not legal, accounting, tax, or investment advice. Funding opportunities, deadlines, requirements, and third-party decisions can change. You are responsible for reviewing final application requirements, approving deliverables, and completing any submission steps assigned to your organization.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CFGS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost funding opportunities, lost revenue, or loss of data arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. CFGS may restrict or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, nonpayment where applicable, or the end of an engagement. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Services change. We will post the revised version and effective date here. Material changes affecting active portal users may also be communicated through the portal or email.
