AI-assisted preparation, human accountability
CFGS uses supervised AI assistants to support research, organize evidence, prepare drafts, and identify items that need review. AI-assisted work remains a draft until the required human checks and approvals are complete.
Who approves the final work?
Antwane Bohanon is CFGS's final human approver. Final CFGS materials require his approval before publication, external sharing, or client delivery. AI assistants cannot approve their own work or authorize action on CFGS's behalf.
CFGS's approval does not replace your organization's approval. You review your final package and retain control of certifications, signatures, credentials, and submission. Required board, accounting, legal, and other professional reviews remain with the responsible people.
When a draft changes after approval, the revised work must be reviewed and approved again before release. Learn more about the review and delivery process.
Public TRAVIS help chat
The public help chat selects answers from a CFGS service guide to explain services, suggest a starting point, and help with common website questions. It is an automated guide, not a person or a general-purpose AI adviser. For an unknown or account-specific issue, it directs you to the CFGS team; it does not create a support ticket or send a message for you.
The widget does not send your chat text to an AI provider, save a transcript, or attach it to a contact form. The conversation stays in this page's memory and clears when you use Clear chat, leave the page, or reload. Do not enter passwords, verification codes, banking details, or confidential records. Ordinary website requests and your separate privacy choices still apply.
Authenticated portal features are separate and may use an AI service provider as described below.
Information used by AI-assisted features
When an authenticated client requests grant drafting, document analysis, mission-statement wording help, or portal assistance, the feature may transmit the relevant prompts, organization profile, project information, readiness responses, and extracted text from uploaded documents to CFGS's configured AI service provider. CFGS does not ask the browser to supply the client record for these features; the server assembles the relevant record from the authenticated organization's workspace.
Use only information that is relevant to the requested work and that your organization is authorized to provide. Do not upload passwords, payment credentials, protected personal information, or confidential third-party records unless CFGS has expressly confirmed that the information is required and the approved handling method.
What technology does not do
Technology does not generate official records or credentials. It does not decide eligibility, acceptance, professional certifications, or how a payment is classified, and it does not submit applications. AI-assisted output is a draft until a responsible person verifies the facts, requirements, calculations, attachments, and approvals.
Why we disclose this
You are trusting us with your organization's case for funding. You should know which parts of it a machine helped draft, and who is answerable for the result. A person is, every time.
