CFGS may use technology, including AI-assisted drafting tools, to help prepare educational materials and draft sections of grant packages. All technology-assisted content remains subject to review by CFGS staff before it is used, shared, or included in a final deliverable.

Information used by AI-assisted features

When an authenticated client requests grant drafting, document analysis, mission-statement wording help, or portal assistance, the feature may transmit the relevant prompts, organization profile, project information, readiness responses, and extracted text from uploaded documents to CFGS's configured AI service provider. CFGS does not ask the browser to supply the client record for these features; the server assembles the relevant record from the authenticated organization's workspace.

Use only information that is relevant to the requested work and that your organization is authorized to provide. Do not upload passwords, payment credentials, protected personal information, or confidential third-party records unless CFGS has expressly confirmed that the information is required and the approved handling method.

What technology does not do

Technology does not generate official records or credentials. It does not decide eligibility, acceptance, professional certifications, or how a payment is classified, and it does not submit applications. AI-assisted output is a draft until a responsible person verifies the facts, requirements, calculations, attachments, and approvals.

Why we disclose this

You are trusting us with your organization's case for funding. You should know which parts of it a machine helped draft, and who is answerable for the result. A person is, every time.
