The Process

From first call to finished package

Five stages. A staff member signs off before your organization moves to the next one.

1
Connect and define the need

Identify the compliance, document, planning, KPI, financial, or grant-package work your organization needs.

2
Apply and assess

Complete the Grant Readiness application and readiness assessment.

3
Eligibility and acceptance

CFGS reviews eligibility and readiness before your organization is accepted into the program.

4
Build your package

Our team builds the package alongside your staff. Finance checks the numbers and a second reviewer checks the rest before it comes back to you.

5
Approve and receive

You review and approve the final package, then receive editable files and a customized submission guide.

CFGS prepares submission-ready grant packages and customized submission instructions. We do not guarantee funding, and we do not automatically submit applications on your behalf. Learn more on our technology use disclosure page.

Strong organizations can show compliant records, approved financials, measurable results, and repeatable procedures. CFGS builds those systems with your team.

What CFGS Does
Who We Serve

Who this is for

Nonprofits, public agencies, faith-based groups, and grassroots organizations with no grant staff and no time to research funders. Much of our work is with programs serving veterans, rural communities, housing stability, workforce and reentry, and neighborhood revitalization.

Community Program

Homes for Honor: a Memphis pathway to stable homeownership

CFGS is developing a four-tier community framework for military-connected households, first-time buyers, new homeowners, essential workers, and eligible workforce families.

Current status: planning, partner development, and due diligence. Enrollment, homes, funding, and eligibility are not yet finalized.

Four ways to start

BUILD → RESTORE → READY → SUBMIT

New nonprofits need a foundation. Existing organizations may need records restored. Others need readiness gaps closed before a grant package makes sense.

The CFGS pathway

From a good idea to a funder-ready organization

The application is not the beginning. Funders first need to see that the organization, project, budget, team, evidence, and compliance plan can hold the work.

Our proof standard

Measure readiness honestly. Publish outcomes only when verified.

CFGS tracks the work an engagement can actually prove: gaps identified, documents organized, staff trained, workplans completed, packages reviewed, deadlines met, and compliance systems established. Funding results will be reported only when documented and authorized.
